On Wednesday, October 25, The Society for Participatory Medicine, a national, innovative non-profit organization committed to transforming the way both medical professionals and patients look at and participate in healthcare, is hosting their first inaugural conference - “Transforming the Culture of Care.”

Taking place as part of the larger, three-day 2017 Connected Health Conference at the Boston Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center, the event will feature patient and professional panels that promote collaborative care, shared decision making and patient engagement and more, to foster participatory medicine across the spectrum of care. Throughout the day, both patients and medical professionals, including doctors, who are putting participatory medicine into practice and are changing lives and the culture of healthcare through dual collaboration, will host seminars on a variety of topics. Additionally, both parties will lead and moderate panels, and participate in educational discussions and Q&A sessions on healthcare engagement and fulfillment.
The registration fee for The Society’s conference will be $100 for society members and $175 for non-members. To register to attend the general 2017 Connected Health Conference, visit
